that projecting thing...

I'm in a middle of Christopher Penczak's book " The innar temple of witchcraft" I don't nkow if anyone of you read it but anyway. There's this Principle of mentalism I'm reading about, and the exersize to it. It says you have to project your thoughts to a fruit, vegetable,,,,or whatever....it's kind of hard and takes alot of time,.But the question is...Do I have to feel anything when I project my thoughts to a specific thing/tool? Because I don't, and I don't nkow if it's supposed to be tnat way. One more think....is a book the author talk about communication with animals when I use my trigger ( which is in my case crossed fingers) ...well nothing happens...I don't feel anything when I programm the trigger....but things work sometimes, like I got a friend to call me in 3 days who probably forgot that I exist, free parking lot, green lights on a road etc....

I've read "The Inner Temple of Witchcraft", a most excellent book. When you talk about metal projection (i think ur on the chapter on the hermetic principals), i remeber how hard it was for me to "feel" myself projecting into a crystal. I hardly felt anything at all. I had a better experience with the astral projection meditation. It's frusterating when you feel like you're not doing something right. I've been there.

All I can suggest is keep practicing and don't expect to be perfect the first time you try.

Best of Luck!

thank you! When I was projecting to my wooden music box I felt like a little vibration in my hands..but that's all.....I guess I'll have to be patient, and that's not the best thing I can do:))

As for projecting, if you want a more complicated article on the matter, check this article by Jim Dekorne, entitled The out-of-body experience as dimensional translocation, or do a search on some of David Bohm's or Michael Talbot's theories on the holographic nature of the universe.

Think of your thoughts as a lightbulb. Unless trained to or an early learned understanding of how to refine your concentration, your thoughts just generally flutter about and beam all around you â?? like a bulb illuminating a room.

A laser, on the other hand, is a focused and refined beam that pinpoints one spot. Via meditation, one can train themselves to cut through all the noise in their minds and concentrate on the subtler, quieter aspects that all areas of "reality" give off.

Through so-called projection, one's goal is to feel inside of themselves the characteristics or dispositions of whatever it is they are meditating upon. You don't really "project" anywhere, but rather your mind turns inward in that sidereal way and accesses the information you are concentrating on, be it a rock, flower, or something else. By concentrating and allowing/training your mind to ignore the noice within, it can pinpoint one object, idea, or aspect that you are attempting to communicate with. But it's not the object itself you come to be one with, it is its astral and Akashic aspects â?? its spiritual blueprint, for lack of better terms â?? that you are, in essence, logging into.

Try the exercises put forth in Liber MMM, in Peter J. Carroll's Liber Null & Psychonaut. I have found them to be an excellent introduction to exercises to aid in these pursuits.

In the end, the entire universe is composed of something that can be described as a holographic structure, and thought works similarly to light. Beyond all aspects of reality is information, and it takes some time to control your interaction with said informations.
