Hello their I have been practicing TM meditation now for about 7 months now. I have practiced most of the techniques available plus some of my own ones that I personally invented.

Just recently i heard of a form of meditation called yogic flying that allows people to levitate etc. This immediately grasped my attention i have been searching for ages for information on how to perform this form of meditation but I cant actually find the specific technique that is used to do this. I have found loads of information about the subject but none of it tells me how to do it.

I would be very grateful if any one here could share this technique with me or if in any one is familiar with it. or even if u could point me in the right directions.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions and comments.

there is no technique for this
when you are able to do this it really doesn't matter

there is a way that you create a psiball that is large and dense enough to support your weight, i read this in a post by MasterVerro -dunno if he's still around-. this is sort of say the easy way

the hard way is just becoming so one with the universe that you can allow it to happen

don't ask me, because i haven't tried levitating or want to do it in a short while. would suggest to learn the more "basic" skills first. like working with psiballs. or get a spiritual update or something.

you seem to think it can be done by some invocation or ritual. but that only works if you have the proper consciousness for that and you sound like a bit unexperienced in occult things.
well it may appear i'm hard on you, but that is better than no reply!?
anyway i do like your attitude, you believe it's possible and that's already a big step (not to mention looking for techniques). if you persevere you will succeed!

I saw a program that discussed yogic flying a while ago. I think they said it was more like jumping than leviating. It could just be a natural reaction to different yoga positions. Either way, I think it's reserved for the highest yoga masters.

I saw a demonstration of this on television a few years ago. People were seated on the floor in lotus and then began hopping around. It looked like they were just using their leg strength to do this.

I saw the same show you guys are talking about. The practitioners, (I recall only seeing young caucasion people doing this), were seated in lotus position and thrusting their weight up and pushing down with their folded legs. I think the point was more to induce the feeling of flying for a brief period.
Maybe it was the same episode, but I saw this video footagle of a yoga master supposedly levitating. he was seated in lotus with a loose robe and had only his 'cane' touching the ground. Later on in the show the 'Yogi' hopped off his perch. As it turns out the 'cane' was a strong steel rod implanted firmly in the ground with a horizontal part the 'Yogi' was sitting on, which was hiddent by his robe. So.... who knows just how real yogic flying is.

On the subject. I was listening to Coast to Coast one night when Red Elk was on. He is a Native American shaman. On the subject of levitation he simply recommended jumping off your couch or whatever onto a soft surface, like a matress or bunch of blankets. To keep doing this everyday and every time you jump to concentrate on levitating, what if feels like to be in the air. Keep focusing everytime you jump, like its the first time and feel yourself just hang in the air. He said weeks months, and maybe years will go by, but one day you will just hang in the air.

Try if you like, but you have to think to yourself, would there be a better use of your time?
