Can anyone move stuff with their magick?
I do a lot of chi gung, and am getting amazing results. The best thing that I enjoy is using my etheric aura to do stuff. Like walking through a crowded mall without missing a step in a straight line.. making people open doors for me.. manouvreing through traffic.. sometimes im sure I can make the lights green-lol..

Anyway, lately when im practising there comes some kind of phase shift. I know when it happens becuase Ibecome in time with everything. When turning from left to right, a flock of birds seems dragged by my arm across the sky. In the middle of a movement the wind will die to nothing, and on the next turn a gust comes sweeping through the yard. ... I become the centre of everything...

So, a lot of ppl seem to battle with using chi to move it as if you had to shoot it like a gun, right? Or like a fan or something. No. When the Tao reveals itself, you become a part of the wind and with some slight focus you help it blow the leaf right where you want it. Right? You use the force thats already there, to move the object. And much other cool stuff.

Anyone follow me?

I like the way you put it. Reminds me of 'the prize' at the end of Highlander (and probably the 80 sequels).

So is what you're saying is, as opposed to 'forcing' things to change around you, you kind of 'go with the flow' so to speak?

First off using an ability "to make somebody do something for me" a lot of people would consider unethical because you are robbing a person of their right to choose, robbing the freedom of choice from others and raping them in a sence. Power is a neutral thing it's how we use it that corrupts it or keeps it pure. How would you feel if you came accross somebody who made you move out of their way or made you do something for them? This is how you should be around others because eventually energy returns full circle to complete it's cycle. What this means if you only use energy to rape and force and bully others when that energy completes it's cycle that energy you sent out is at least equal to the energy you put out. Using energy to say excuse me please move is different than using energy to say get the f- out of my f-ing way right now you low life worthless peice of s- which the latter is what I think of when somebody says they "make someone move out" of their way. How would you react if some guy very big said that to you while just walking around minding your buisness. You'd probably get offended by this guy and a fight could be the result be it verbal, physical, energy, psionic, etc. Power should always be used responsibly. If I see somebody behind me for example coming to a door or the elevator I'm in I keep the door open for them because it is good manners to do this for them. It has nothing to do with energy manipulation on their part. It has to do with being raised properly.

As for fighting with chi. If I'm attacked I'll used everything at my disposal when defending myself including psionics and chi based attacks.

@Draconphoenix- Some nice distinctions. This all seems a bit obvious. There all just 'beliefs' anyway. I believ in a feedback loop, and I also believ in unscrewing your ideas about what is ethical or not. If there are so many value judgements to be made, how best to make some that serve you even more? And, im not really thinking about any of that. Sometimes, you push the person who needs pushing and it serves them too. Pffft. You can't rob what you dont own, and what is this 'you' that is being robbed from.. (shrugs) For me, ethics is a pretty basic thing once you reaslie that you're connected to everyone.
Also, "excuse me please move" just doesnt do it in a busy city street...


What im saying full stop is that as a magician, I wanna do cool things. I dont buy the 'leave it for later' spiel. I was shown parnormal abiltites before I was shown God, and my belief structure says that The Universe wants for me whateve rI want for me. Regrdless. I still think that ideas about distraction from spiritual goals and all that isn't necessarily true. Nothing is necessarily true. Or not.

If you could move your keys to your hands from across the room, why the hell wouldn't you? What beliefs do you have that make that possible, easy, allowed or not?
The Tao seems to show me that all my rules are invented. You dont have to break rules, when you can bend your own mind..

Yeah. Going with the flow.. and directing it to serve you.. kinda martial. Sprirtual progress can be so intangible sometimes. As long as I can demonstrate my learning (even to myself) I feel that I am moving in the right direction.

There is a Martial Arts Style that one can see in many Wuxia Style Movies where Great Masters of Chi could use it to attack and defend with using Chi or Life Force.

It is called Ling Kong Jing or Powerful Empty Force and is a Legendary Style of Chinese Martial Arts thought to be lost today as far as most people know if it ever truely existed. Look into that however as it seems to be somewhat related to your post.

It is fundamentally related to Chi Gung.

I wonder Big Jon, if while you are cruising around moving people and things out of your way, if you yourself are not the tool of some other power that is moving you to help clear it's own way. Just a thought.

YES, I do believe you have a point.. lol This is I suppose why my intention only touches on malicious when im ready to get headbutted by the monkey himself.

If.. I need to have an ego to survive a material, mundane reality I want it to be the biggest, coolest one I can. When it comes time to give that up aswell, I want it to be worth the giving.
About the being a tool point.. (lol)... whats your take on that? Should one seek to be independant of this, or simply to be aware of it?
Have u ever 'seen' karma? Independant origination is a big head trip.. With no beginning or end, what is this little man to do?
