Notice how the subject now employs more dogmatic tactics in order to defend his use of dogma. He does this by asserting the universality of dogma with the following statement...
"All beliefs are in essence dogmatic to various degrees based on the individuals point of view."
So, in essence, he is defending the use of dogma by claiming that everything is dogma. This tactic is very similar to many logistical strategies employed by right-wing theologists.
You take stance with my phrasing not the subject of my phrases it would seem and I tire of it...rather then refuting linguistics perhaps you may try a rebuttal with logic?
27. There is great danger in me; for who doth not understand these runes shall make a great miss. He shall fall down into the pit called Because, and there he shall perish with the dogs of Reason.
28. Now a curse upon Because and his kin!
29. May Because be accursed for ever!
30. If Will stops and cries Why, invoking Because, then Will stops & does nought.
31. If Power asks why, then is Power weakness.
32. Also reason is a lie; for there is a factor infinite & unknown; & all their words are skew-wise.
33. Enough of Because! Be he damned for a dog!

hmm, yes and no, in kether there is a potential but it is completely passive it is not dynamic until it is channeling through chokmah, kether is in a state of perpetual becoming it is dynamic because it is driven by pressure from the absloute this is defined as the divinity in the maxim "god is pressure".I should have perhaps said gained the potential for manifest. A transition from passive to dynamic.

Makes me think of the Universe as a huge computer with various programs controlling the parameters.

Hey! Everybody! Let's pick on Corbin!
I think I've seen it said somewhere before but "dogma" spelled backwards is, of course, "amgod." If you continuously bombard us with dogma, are you trying to infer that you am god?

I never perceived Hermeticism having a hierarchy of powers? How do you mean?
I never perceived Hermeticism having a hierarchy of powers? How do you mean?
Instead of Hermetic's I should have said Kabbalah since I equate the two through the Golden Dawn. The Tree of Life seems to me a heirarchy of powers thus my mentioning in my mind the similarity between a computer and my conception of such. Let's see it this way:
God: The OS
The Universe: Hardware
Sephira: Source Code
Angels and Entities: Programs designed for specific things
The Tree of Life is like a Heirarchy and serves many purposes but shows the interplay of various forces within the system. It may seem to be an odd comparison to make but I find it rather fitting from a personal stand point but that may differ between individuals since I have my own way of thought...

All human beings are mixtures of masculine & feminine aspects. You may read Alfred Adler. For example, I may be 55 % masculine and 45 % feminine.

Ningishzidda tells me, that of the few attachments I have in this world, embarassing myself on occultforums.com is one of them. SO in a final bid for saying farewell to the last vestiges of humanity I have left, I give you a photo of my pussy:

You should read the Mahabharata and the Ramayana which are two core myths in India. With more than 74,000 verses, long prose passages, and about 1.8 million words in total, the Mahabharata is one of the longest epic poems in the world.
The Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) was extracted from the longer work of the Mahabharata. The Bhagavad Gita has long been a staple text and is considered a guide book for the layman practitioner of Hinduism.
Note of interest: My favorite part of the Ramayana is after the first great battle at Lanka and the dead litter the battle field. Rama order's them all to be gathered and creamated and he prays for both his allies and enemies. One of his commanders ask's why he is creamating and praying for the enemy dead as well as his own soldiers to which he replies "Whether enemy or ally they are all Children of God and should be treated with the respect that all creatures deserve. I shall give them a proper funeral rather then leaving them to the wild animals." or atleast something to that effect.

yes that is a very good excerpt corbin
as an aside for the females in this thread, Sita is traditionally, almost always named before Rama, as she is considered to be more dignified in her life than Rama, who behaved inappropriately towards her and realized this at the end of the Ramayana epic...
I won't spoil the story though...
It's a big deal, since Rama (darkness) is considered to be a potent incarnation of Vishnu...
I was always bored by the Ramayana so I don't know much about it...

I like Hanuman who is considered an avatar of Shiva by some people and a personification of strenght, loyalty and service.
Hanuman is the epitome of wisdom, brahmacharya, bhakti (devotion/faith), valour, righteousness and strength. His indispensable role in reuniting Rama with Sita is likened by some to that of a teacher helping an individual soul realise the divine.
There is no blessing that he cannot bestowâ??according to the Hanuman Chalisa, Sita granted him the power to bestow the eight siddhis and nine types of wealth on others. However, the greatest boon one can ask of Hanuman is the uplifting spiritual qualities that he himself is known for.
In the Ramayana he burns the city of Lanka after letting himself be captured and humilated by Ravana the King of Lanka. As he flies away he realizes the great error he has made lamenting:
"I, Hanuman, a great Brahamin have let the fires of anger consume me and have burned the city of Lanka. The flames of my rage may burn even Mother Sita!"

Hanuman is also the only male god immune to the effects of the feminine allure.. He simply is not attracted by them, but regards them all as incarnations of the divine ma...
Because of this immunity he can be helpful in many situations where the gods fail...
but this thread is boring me, I didn't intend for it to become a sausage festival...
excuse me...
