Flowers..
Flowers..
Hello,
More a side-effect of being a healer, I think. I wanted to ask if any other healers out there find that flowers are healthier when exposed to you for longer?
Shortly after I had my Reiki 3 attunement, my grandmother fell into a coma and passed away a week later, during this time, my houseplants almost doubled in size, and plants that were verging on death came into full bloom. I've recently suffered another bereavement, and a friend brought me a bunch of tulips, freshly cut, which have been sitting on my kitchen table for three weeks now and look as healthy as the day they were cut.
I might post a picture of them tonight if anyone is that interested, hehe.
I'm really just wondering if any other healers notice this? Do your houseplants grow healthier when you are a healer?
I honestly don't know if it's really related, it's a question I don't know the answer to, and I thought I would ask you guys if you've had any similar experiences.

Re: Flowers..
I recently had tulips last two weeks,so you're beating me,lol. [thumbup]
I can revive dying plants pretty well, but sometimes the energy coming from me can be bad for them.I fluctuate.
I have herbs growing in the kitchen and they all seemed to have a 'little death' when I first got them, they wilted, then revived and now they're going great guns.
When I get angry it takes a while to dissipate and so I will stay away from plants and the household animals at these times,as living things don't thrive around my anger. [blush]
You have a strong kind of gentle energy about you,I noticed it when I met you.Does that sound contradictory,it's a strong presence I mean.Sorta violet.

Re: Flowers..
I use my living room for rituals (nothing else indoors seems to work well), and been doing a lot of rather black stuff in here but the plants either dont mind or they like it. Same with the dogs and cats for that matter, they sleep peacefully on the couch a meter away no matter what I do. The plants keep trying to cover the windows, which means I have to cut off pieces to be able to see out at all and of course I cant just throw those away if they can be used for cuttings, which means more new plants, etc. But the plants in the kitchen are just as big, so hard to tell if there is any difference.
Re: Flowers..
Vashta you are quite right.Flowers tend to absorb our energy whether it's possitive or negative.Let me give you an example here.Holy water in Orthodox church is sprinkled to the believers, via basil sprig. You see basil is considered sacred and powerfull.7 months ago i asked from a dear friend of mine,(who faces a problem with absorbing negative energy from others),to fill his apartment with many basil pots.He went and bought 9 of them.Next week he calls me and says...Iolh tonight i'm expecting a guest and i know that this is the person that gives me all this bad energy...so i asked him to put all of the basil pots in the living room. After 1 hour that the guest left his apartment all 9 basils died...they went dry.He couldh't believe it.
Anyway....flowers and plants really work with our energy. When you are a healer, your flowers will look shinny and healthy.Almost happy. They all hide a secret power inside of them and they respond perfectly especially with practitionairs that work with the Angelic art.I've noticed that as well.
Don't forget that the mythologies of numerous cultures worldwide link deities with plants. For example Nahemah refers to tulip who is typically connected to prosperity and is also associated with some deities.
Oh...i'd really like to see this photo.

Re: Flowers..
Hehehe, basil is one of the few plants I could never make survive..but then again, even summers here can be cold enough to kill them.
Re: Flowers..
I understand...maybe for you it's natural, but for us here in Greece (5 months summer) it's unusual a plant like basil going dry in just a few hours.

Re: Flowers..
That is true, we have our own 'sacred' plants here for this climate.
I'm just wondering if its that simple, I know healers and 'angel-fans' (selfproclaimed ones at least) that cant even keep a catus alive while I have really big healthy plants. But I dont feel very negative either and I always seem to be the one playing moral support for others. Urgh now I got confused again, but maybe use of energy matters less than what you keep, or something?

Actually, cactus,is not one of my favorites but nevermind. There are certain plants that connect with Angels and i don't know how,but they almost always seem to be extremely resistant.I guess if a practionair of light magic, works daily with difficult rituals (breaking hexes...etc),the only natural thing is that the plants,he keeps in his house, will absorb this energy and eventually go dry.
