I'm just starting my way in magic. tell about the case that you most impressed during the magical practices. maybe you saw a certain creature or could create something incredible with your own hands or maybe you managed to visit other worlds?
I will be very interested to hear your experience. and maybe you have any tips for beginners? What would you advise yourself as a mage at the very beginning of your journey?
The human has many levels of consciousness to control, refine and align before the human can consciously participate in cosmic processes.
The first step is to love oneself - using the energy that anchors in the human heart.
As the human loves itself with heart energy, the motivations change and the human becomes more acceptable/useful to the cosmic intelligences that have been given this solar system to cultivate.
Selfish humans tend to be counterproductive and easily manipulated by dark intelligences. Very rich 80 year-olds are often still greedy for power.
The desire for power is the most refined of the physical desires. Then the emotional desires need to be controlled and then the mental processes and then the heart processes.
In human females sometimes heart progress occurs before much mental progress.
The most profound, perhaps even the most life changing, experience was when after many years of doing "the usual" and having fairly solid gnosis of "I know it all".
On my ~1000th perfectly normal and casual meditation session, fully sober and under no influence of any substances, I managed to accidentally slip trough some crack somewhere and experienced my first true OBE/AP. Just to find myself standing face to face to some very special person, being fully awake and aware, to have her laugh at my confusion and shock, and hear her say "You know nothing, John Snow, but I'll show you a thing or two." And to have her take me on a wildest few months long journey across the galaxy (figuratively). Not all in one go, but it was probably the most life (and mind) changing period, I really knew nothing.
But it didn't take all that log to learn how addictive it can become, I spent too much time out "there", my life here in this reality started falling apart. So I had to come back and now all those experiences, all those faces and conversations - all just a distant memory.
But someday, once all my commitments here resolved, and nobody needs me here, I'll be heading out there again.
Expert or beginner, my advice is the same: Know yourself. Without ideals, wishful thinking, shame or pride. Know who you are and accept the truth of it. Only by knowing and accepting the truth of yourself can you begin to know your INTENT. And intent, in my experience, is the very core of magikal work.
My miracle has always been the moment during magikal work when, for a moment, you understand the universe as well as yourself. A passing moment and impossible to describe, but it is why i do what i do.
