Satanists follow the who follow Left Hand path, rejecting Christianity and the path of Zen are only hurting themselves by electing to stay within such a limited point of view. Of course this does have to deal with LaVey, who encourages lust, sex, carnal indulgences of the flesh, food, drink, etc. Satanism encourages individuals to remain stuck in the lower chakras without any evolution.

Without Love, Compassion, Intuition, Understanding, a Satanist would be stuck in bondage.

The whole point of spiritual evolution is to become aligned with our divine selfs, not to forever stay stuck letting our animalistic aspects control us until death, not learning the lesson only to be reincarnated again.

Honestly, what good comes from using a Ouija board? Working with the Goetia? (I seriously doubt anyone here has been lead to riches)

And I see threads of members asking for "Death spells". WTF? Magic is the most powerful science/art in the Universe, and instead of using it to better yourself, some people would rather use their beings as a medium to send out destructive energy when the Law of cause and effect is Whatever Is Being Sent Out Is Also Being Recieved At The Same Thing.

And I saw this other post by a member saying they were looking for the Philsopher's Stone. :eh:

OP, you should perhaps first probe the members here to learn of their motivations before preaching.

You are correct that from the standpoint of a spiritual person, the LaVeyan focus on carnality and pleasure is neglecting the higher self, but they only make up part of the Satanic world. Many of us have very high pursuits, with higher aims than those of your path, as some of us shall ascend above the throne of God himself.

Bhagavad Gita is a terrible suggestion. It's not even an interesting piece of literature.

Congrats on the flamebait title lol.

I would say being restricted to any certain path is a limited point of view. I verge more towards the Zen/buddhist style outlook on life, but I acknowledge my other side too. Too ignore half of your personality in favour of another limits your potential and does not seem healthy to me. That doesnt mean I am not striving to better myself / achieve enlightenment or whatever. Just my opinon.

I'm going to close this thread on the grounds that the original post is really blatantly 'preaching', which is against forum rules. Its a rule not often enforced because in most instances its vague and debatable, but in this case its pretty clear.

I'd also like to add, to whatiamidoing, that 'left hand path' comes from vamachara tantra, which is altogether very concerned with working with shakti, moreso than any other vedic tradition. Further, Christianity in its purist form would condemn anyone trying to merge it with Zen, reincarnation, or other eastern concepts. Monotheism is quite explicit about there being 'one truth'. Thus the popularity of satanism IMO. There are more logical and factual issues with the OP, I wont list them all. But seriously whatiamidoing, all rule breaking aside, you're making horribly uninformed assertions.

You might find it interesting to raise each of these points individually in separate threads, and rephrase them so as to promote discussion on the topics.

We are meant to live our lives to the maximum not be restrained. I think right hand path religions cause a lot of problems. no Offence, Some of us want to go to hell. Hexing and cursing people has also helped me massively and mentally as opposed to bottling it all up, which does not make sense to do. but hay but what works for you may not work for me and vise versa, As above so below.
