reiki help?

Post by 66dragonfly66 »

Reiki

I have been doing reiki for three years about. I was doing chi experiments before this. I have some method questions. Recently when I have had reiki and done it on myself, by letting go and letting the reiki flow, I feel joyful over my whole body (sometimes it makes me joyful but usually its just my body). I try not to fall asleep because I worry that without conscious presence (even if its subdued) the work is not effective. I wonder the degree of effectiveness of reiki. I grew up pentecostal and miracles were crazy. Its similar I think to trance mediumship and animal magnetism. I have read accounts of crazy healings from around the world that involve this autosuggestion as well think of it, and I believe that maybe reiki has the same potential, or comes from the same source (or maybe its the shaktipat that makes it work?).

Sure, reiki is the living energy, or wisdom energy in all living things, maybe preferable to orgone...
but... i am beginning to think its the energy emitted from us being connected to a future (or higher) intergrated oneness with the reality of our oneness here, and the emitted connection between these two potential quantum states (both being the same thing I think).

so...
I guess my question is... when I let go the reiki is stronger, and I can follow it, but I cannot tell its effectiveness. (when i pray, like in tongues under my breath) when I do it, the energy is stronger and the healing more sincere. My other question is about projecting it. I am wondering if people ever beam into an intention in front of them and let this reiki energy (like a traditional chi ball) develop and then intregrate that intention into themselves and how to insure its success (its all intention i know).
Or, the tibetan usui that i use, uses a tummo rite for attunement. well, i dont think im supposed to discuss that part, except, is the effectiveness of the tummo done through body memory or can the reiki itself create the heat like traditional tibetan tummo exercises. I assume that this thermogenesis is done by breathing itself, (or that if this is kundalini awakening, it is a physical process not a spiritual one we usually think about it). The point is, I have found that healing touch methods help me focus to do better reiki but reiki seems to be more effective when we intend less except to let the reiki do stuff, but we still need to be present to make it work, and while it is chi work, the chi present is different than mere prana? Like, the jing essence is in our kidneys is different than the chi that apparently falls from our pineal gland into our stomach. If we practice standing on our heads we can accumulate the jing essence and the other form of prana, but when i do breathing exercises the energy feels like its in my head and not in my hands. I think we can beam with our minds instead of our hands, but feel the heart is best. The point being that our heart is an electromagnet, and our hands have a similar effect of electric polarity (its not a direct current no), and the power is somehow connected to the ability of some cells to be undiffereniated..?

sorry if this is stupid, but...
its similarly like asking, .. transcendental meditation lifts up our minds and apparently triggers an innate autoheal and self regeneration. can we feel this same thing in other parts of our bodies? and since this is a form of empty mind meditation, how is it best to use this sense of directed nondirectedness?
