nordic forms of evocation?

Post by 66dragonfly66 »

Well,

I have read a fair amount of techniques to master conjuring spirits in the traditional western way, but I find it disappointing because its emphasis is less upon the skills of the practioner and more about the names of god, the set up of the ritual and other schematics (like enochian tables). I have done some minimal attempts, but most of my attempts at conjuring are more ad hoc (because spirits listen to us despite).

I am interested in other means to do this work, either ancient from my cultural tradition (which is nordic) or other parts of the world. How do people conjure spirits, is there technology that is used (fetish items of any kind?). Is the ceremonial methods something that has evolved from the ancient zorastrian, is this a worthwhile endeavor or is it more work than it is worth (in general people say that doing this kind of work is generally alot of work, when I know that sometimes it is and sometimes its not, so the cost benefit is not just practice alot and spend your time at home alone until something happens sort of reality).

thanx

[eek] You just have to gain familiarity and rapport. My rapport is so good with the Nordic gods I can summon any one of them right next to me just by thinking it. But for someone like you I would just tell you to INTEND it. I know this is a hard pill to swallow but just by making something important is enough to conjure them.
